did you run out of time today or are you avoiding this question?

Well, I have to admit that I was avoiding this thread because there was just too many more interesting ones to read and reply to!!!

But now that I'm here, I'm lost!!! Did I try what???? If you're talking about cleaning the hair dryer, yes, I've been doing that ever since dh told me it could be done (or I give it to him and tell him to do it) . ..

It sounds like Wilson is talking abut some kind of hair color???? Catch me up!!!!!

You can only use it on brown hair. Boil a cup of sage in a cup of water for a few minutes. Then let it sit until cool. Put in the fridge until needed. Then you put it on your freshly washed hair and leave it in. After a few weeks of doing it regularly they say you only have to do it every couple of weeks after that.

No - I never tried it - I just use Roux.

It's a rinse-in hair color. I've used it for years - it only tones down the grey.

The neighborhood teens have been getting a kick out of spreading the rumor that I bought my daughter a stripper and it's not even her birthday!  Oh no!

Yes, I did buy my daughter a stripper, for her hair!!  I had never seen one used before and it was amazing how much dye it pulled out!

She is off to Canada again this morning, leaving me for 10 days with these 5 granddaughters and 1 neighborhood teen that has sorta moved in with us for a bit.  Thats nuts  That is why I am up so early. Actually, the alarm just went off (3 am here) but I have been up for just over an hour already. We have to leave for the bus station in half hour. She will have 2 days and 9 hours on the bus each direction and is looking forward to it.

I typed this out once but it disappeared on me. *sigh*

Rachael is home now and glad to be off the bus. lol... she had a great trip but too many bus hours.

Rachael usually dyes her hair a lighter blond then is natural for her before the grey started and so do I. Rachael though, likes to dye her tips (and sometimes streaks red or purple).

While she was gone I was at the grocery store on day with two of the neighborhood teenage girls that would rather be here then home and I asked them if they thought I should dye the tips of my hair red to shock Rachael when she got off the bus. Of course they exploded with excitement over it, especially knowing that I was going to let them do it for me. (my hair has grown quite a bit since my last cut and I figured do the tips then cut it out before I go to Colorado.)

I ended up choosing a deep auburn color (my daughter may be corrupting me but not as much as a purple or bright red lol). The girls had a blast dying it for me, and of course they loved it.

I had quite the surprise when I looked in the mirror though. Unexpectedly I like it too!! Everyone that has seen it so far has liked it!! I don't think I will cut it out now.  Ha Ha Gotcha!

The real test will be my friend Linda, she KNEW that she would hate it when I first told her what I was thinking about. I hope to catch up with her today when I go into Chewelah.

Surprisingly enough, Linda did not hate it! She wouldn't go so far as to say she liked it but she did say that she didn't hate it and thought the auburn instead of the red or purple was good.
Linda's daughter Summer thought it was great!
I'm fixin' to go get it cut again though so maybe on my March/April trip I'll either have Rachael or one of the girls do it again.  Wink
